United States Army Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO)

Program Description:  Security assistance is a national program administered by the State Department with military security assistance programs being executed by the Department of Defense. USASATMO, a subordinate element of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command, plans, forms, prepares, deploys, sustains, and redeploys, training, technical assistance and advisory teams that provide security assistance training to foreign military personnel, units, and commands in support of US Foreign policy and DOD Security Cooperation plans and programs.  AMERICAN SYSTEMS personnel provide assist by delivering services that serve to promote regional stability, deter aggression, maintain alliances, and spread democratic values between the United States and its allies.
